Are the DIY hours realistic?+

The defaults (200 setup hours, 8 maintenance hours / month, $150/hr) reflect a midsize team that needs to build TLS issuance, edge routing, DNS validation, status reporting, and webhooks. Smaller teams hit much higher numbers; ex-FAANG infra teams hit lower.

What's the actual managed pricing?+

Domainee: first 50 hostnames and 100 GB / month free. Then $0.20/domain graduated down to $0.10 at scale, and $0.05/GB above 400 GB on paid plans. No setup, no contract.

Does this include cert costs?+

Yes — managed pricing includes TLS issuance and renewal. The DIY 'infra' line covers the typical mix of an NLB/ALB, an ACM-style cert pipeline, and monitoring.

What if I already have an edge?+
