Entri pricing in 2026: every tier, and the add-on that isn't priced

Entri publishes exactly one price. Startup is $249 a month for 600 domain connections a year. Growth, Premium and Enterprise are all "Talk to Sales," and the two add-ons most people actually need, Power and Secure, have no published price at all.

That is the short answer. The rest of this post is what each tier includes, what the two different domain limits mean (they are not the same number and the difference matters), and how to work out what you would really pay.

Checked against entri.com/pricing on 10 September 2026. Entri restructured this page during 2026, so if you are reading an older comparison it is probably quoting tiers that no longer exist.

The published tiers

Everything below is one product line, Activate.

TierPriceConnections / yearMonitored domainsNotable
Startup$249/mo6001,200Webhooks, basic config, month-to-month, email support
GrowthTalk to Sales2,4004,800Advanced config variables, custom colors

EnterpriseTalk to Sales12,000+50,000Advanced white labeling, modal embed, SSO (Okta, SAML, SCIM)

Startup is month-to-month. The three tiers above it are not priced, which in practice means an annual commitment and a sales conversation.

The two limits are different things

This is the part that catches people, and it is worth being precise about because the two numbers are always roughly 2:1 and it is easy to read them as the same limit.

Connections per year is a flow. It counts how many times a domain gets connected during the year. Startup gives you 600.

Monitored domains is a stock. It is how many domains Entri watches on an ongoing basis. Startup gives you 1,200.

So on Startup you can onboard 600 domains in a year while keeping up to 1,200 under monitoring. If you onboard 50 customers a month you are at your connection cap by month twelve, regardless of how many domains are actually live. A platform with high churn burns connections without ever growing the monitored count, and a platform with very low churn hits the monitored cap while barely touching connections.

Work out which of the two you hit first. It is usually not the one you assumed.

Connect, Sell and Monitor are included. Power and Secure are not.

Entri's site presents several named modules, and the pricing page is explicit that Connect, Sell and Monitor are bundled features across all Activate plans. They are not separate line items.

  • Connect is the DNS setup flow: the modal your end user sees, which detects their DNS provider and writes the records for them. This is the part built on Domain Connect and provider APIs.
  • Sell is in-app domain registration.
  • Monitor is ongoing DNS health checking.

Power and Secure are listed separately as add-ons, and neither has a published price. Power is described as "power custom domains in minutes," which is the custom-domain hosting and SSL layer. Secure is "secure domains at scale."

This is the single most important thing to understand before you budget. If what you need is your customers' domains serving your app over HTTPS, Connect alone does not do that. Connect writes DNS records. Something still has to terminate TLS on shop.customer.com and route it to your origin, and that is Power. So the real cost of shipping the feature is Activate plus an add-on whose price you can only get by asking.

So what does it actually cost?

The honest answer is that you cannot compute it from the public page.

The floor is $249/mo, or $2,988 a year, before your first customer, and that gets you the DNS setup modal and monitoring for up to 600 connections. Add Power and the number goes up by an amount Entri does not publish. Past 600 connections a year you are on a sales call.

If you are evaluating Entri, the two questions worth asking on that call are what Power costs at your volume, and which of the two limits your usage pattern hits first.

Is Entri the right shape for you?

Genuinely, sometimes yes. Entri is strong where a polished, white-labelled, non-technical setup modal is the product requirement, and where an enterprise sales relationship with SSO and dedicated support is what your buyer expects. The Connect flow is good, and auto-configuring a customer's DNS through their provider is real engineering that saves real support tickets.

It is a poor fit if you want to start small without talking to anyone, if your volume is unpredictable, or if you would rather pay for domains that are live than for connection events.

The self-serve alternative

Domainee is the same category priced the other way round: 50 custom domains and 100 GB of bandwidth free forever, then $0.20 per domain per month with volume discounts down to $0.10. No annual cap, no connection counting, no sales call, and TLS and edge serving are included rather than sold as an add-on.

The unit is the real difference. Entri charges for connection events per year; Domainee charges for domains that are live this month. If you onboard and churn a lot, connection pricing punishes you. If you hold many long-lived domains, per-domain pricing eventually costs more. Neither is universally cheaper, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling.

Two things Domainee does that Entri's public pricing does not cover:

  • Provider-aware setup instructions. GET /v1/domains/{id}/instructions detects which DNS provider is serving your customer's domain and returns steps written for that provider, including the record name written the way that provider's form expects. Providers disagree about whether the apex is @, blank, or the full domain, and entering the wrong one produces blog.example.com.example.com with no error message anywhere. You can try the detection for free, no signup.
  • Domains bought in-app need no DNS step at all. Because Domainee is the registrar for those, autoConnect points them at the edge with nothing for your end user to do. See the Buy a Domain API.

If you want to know whether one-click setup is even possible for a given customer, the Domain Connect checker reads their _domainconnect record live and tells you.

The comparison, if that is what you came for

This post is the explainer. If you want the head-to-head, that is Entri alternative 2026, which does the pricing math at several scales.
